I just realized that I've been working for and contributing to Essence on and off for 15 years now - my first food show was in Susan Taylor's office in the fall of 1997. How time flies!
There have been many changes in how food has been presented in Essence over the years, and its been exciting to keep up and find new ways to create great content for the magazine.
I look forward to the day Essence Magazine publishes their extensive great back catalog of food editorial and recipes online. In the meantime, I'm thrilled to contribute to the magazine.
Thanks to all my Youtube and SoGood fans for all your feedback, and a special shout out to Jonell Nash, Essence's legendary founding Food Editor, for giving me my first assignments those many years ago.
